A nationally recognized project management specialist and construction claims consultant, Mr. Civitello is skilled in the areas of construction contract management, claims entitlement and valuation, CPM scheduling, delay and interference analysis, productivity analysis, claim presentation and defense.

A veteran constructor, his clients include owners, contractors, design professionals and attorneys on a wide range of public, institutional and private projects throughout the United States, Canada and the Caribbean. He has extensive experience in the areas of job cost, estimating & bidding, scheduling, sub-vendor coordination, change management and dispute resolution.

Mr. Civitello has been an advocate and independent expert on construction claims ranging individually in value to more than $70 million. He has been an active panelist for the American Arbitration Association on large/complex construction cases, a trained mediator, and a qualified expert witness in his fields of expertise in litigation, arbitration and mediation venues.

He is the author of best-selling construction books with McGraw-Hill, Prentice-Hall, Simon & Schuster, and M.E. Sharpe including The Construction Operations Manuel of Policies and Procedures, The Construction Manager, Complete Contracting, Contractor’s Guide to Change Orders, The Builder’s and Contractor’s Yearbook, Construction Scheduling Simplified, and the Construction Safety & Loss Control Program Manual, and is an advisor to those publishers on books by other authors.
