The Meadows at Columbine is an executive townhouse community located south of Denver, near the Chatfield Lake area. The project consists of 277 two-bedroom, two-bath and three-bedroom, three-bath units. The dramatic hillside location determined the project's architectural style, and allows all sites spectacular views of the Rockies. The project features "San Francisco" style architecture, with a blend of wood and stone throughout the exterior. The town homes are presented in four-plex and six-plex configurations, with individual attached garages. The total living area under roof exceeds 600,000 square feet, and is valued at $27,500,000.
The Meadows was most challenging in its utilization of the hillside site. Careful planning and attention to detail was necessary from the very beginning in order to maximize the views allowed by the dramatic hillside location for the largest number of town homes.
R. E. Cross & Associates performed all development services. We conceptualized the entire project, located the raw land, brought the project through zoning, secured financing , arranged acquisition, developed the complete design, and marketed all units to 100% lease-up.
