Construction Management
At CPM, we believe that aging project delivery methods will not satisfy the needs of today's construction environment.
We believe that characteristic problems with construction contracts should not be addressed by simply adding contract
boilerplate, which can strain the system further.
Each form of General Contracting, Construction Management or Design-Built contract arrangement has advantages and
disadvantages, considering the particular project and specific Owner objectives.
The risks inherent in each delivery method can result in loss of control that Owner's can experience due to complex agendas at work.
Because of this, CPM considers the use of Agent Construction Management (ACM) to be the method that returns control to the Owner's
own budget, schedule and quality.

Under an ACM arrangement,CPM provides complete construction management services as an extension of the Owner's staff.
The management activities are performed on a professional basis in a manner that allows the Owner to make its own operating decisions
throughout the project life cycle.
This feature keeps the Owner fully informed at every step, and provides for the Owner's direct control over all schedule and budget components.
Given the particular set of Owner objectives and constraints, this method can offer significant advantages over other systems.
ACM reestablishes focus on budget and schedule, and removes the classic conflicts of interest that are inherently designed into conventional
construction agreements. It is fundamentally designed to compel performance and control risk strictly in the Owner's interest.
In ACM, the Owner can determine for itself the level of direct participation it desires in the management of the project.
