Located in Lakewood, Colorado at the foothills of the Rockies The Cedars is an executive apartment community with spacious interiors and quality finishes. The project overlooks the Metro-Denver area on a hillside location with a differential elevation of 90 feet. Syndicated for $20,000,000, 410,000 square feet of living area is divided among 408 one, two, and three-bedroom units, featuring large balconies or patios, fireplaces and lush landscaping. The exterior presents an outstanding blend of brick and cedar, framed by mature Colorado aspens and firs.
With production divided into fast-tracked three phases, the 156-
unit Phase 1 was completed and fully leased within sixteen months from the initial project concept. At 144 units, Phase 2 was completed and fully leased within eleven months. Phase 3 was then fully leased within ten months. Construction required the movement of nearly 400,000 cy of earth and was completed throughout extreme winter periods. All development services were performed. From conceptualization of the entire project, the Cedars was brought through zoning, financing, and acquisition. The complete design was developed, and all units were marketed through 100% lease-up.
